Meet the Members
Anastasia (Stacy) Sorenson - Director
Stacy is a stay-at-home mom. She has been extremely interested in the paranormal since childhood. After some experiences during her teen years, she dreamed of having her own group to document paranormal happenings. In recent years, Stacy has thrown herself into finding all the information she could find on investigating skills and the science and theories of ghosts and hauntings. With the support of her family, Stacy founded Virginia Investigators of the Paranormal, LLC.
Jayne Coman - Assistant Director
Jayne is a paralegal. She is a grounded, logical thinker with a great sense of humor. She experienced a residual haunting in her parents' house in Virginia as a teen and later encountered paranormal activity both at an Inn and at a cemetery in Indiana. She was also the recipient of some pranks in her own home associated with her deceased father shortly after he passed and again shortly before an annual trip to her father's family reunion. She is an avid fan of all paranormal TV shows. Her mission with V.I.P. is to logically explain and either debunk or scientifically capture and record paranormal phenomena.
Dave Coman - Investigation Coordinator
Dave is a social worker. He has had several experiences with paranormal activity, once in his own house built near a Civil War battlefield, and at a bed and breakfast in Pennsylvania. He is an open-minded skeptic, who helps V.I.P. locate new places to investigate.
Shane Sorenson - Technical Manager
Shane is an aerospace engineer. He is going to be providing technical support for V.I.P. and helping in the investigations. He is a very logical thinker and is skeptic by nature.
Thomas Coman - Researcher
Tom is a chef. He has always been interested in the paranormal and has had a few unexplained events happen in his presence. He has seen forms which he believed to be paranormal activity and has also experienced such phenomenon as cold spots in places he believed to be "haunted." He looks forward to having the opportunity to experience more, learn, and teach some while exploring the unexplained with V.I.P.
Lorraine Swedo - Investigator
Lorraine is a critical care RN who has had paranormal interests and experiences as a child. She works in a Richmond area hospital where there has been an increase in unexplained/paranormal occurrences and happenings. Since visiting haunted Inns in Gettysburg and having the ability to catch on camera, pictures of spirits and other unusual sights not seen with the naked eye. These helped to re-spark her interests and to pursue in investigations of the paranormal.
